Jackie Calhoun, DNP, RN, CPNP-AC, CCRN

Dr. Jackie Calhoun is an Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She also works as a Pediatric Critical Care Nurse Practitioner in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at the UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.

She graduated as a Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (PNP) from Rush University in Chicago, Illinois in 2013, and completed her DNP in Health Systems Executive Leadership at the University of Pittsburgh in 2020. Besides her responsibilities at the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Calhoun is involved in a number of different professional organizations, including NAPNAP and SCCM. Furthermore, Dr. Calhoun serves as an item writer for the CPNP-AC certification exam.

Within Lecturio, Dr. Calhoun teaches courses on Pediatric Nursing.
